POSTPONED: 6th World Scleroderma Patient Congress

6th Systemic Sclerosis World Congress

Dear patient registrant,
We are sorry to have to inform you that the Board of FESCA have taken the decision to cancel The World Scleroderma Congress for Patients in Prague next week. The medical congress has also been cancelled.

We feel that the risks of infection for our patient community are too great at this time. Some of our patient registrants are immune-suppressed and most are compromised by their scleroderma.

We hope that you have taken out insurance against any travel costs you may have incurred. You should know that the insurance obtained by the congress does not cover cancellations due to infectious disease, and so we have no coverage that can help you in this regard. On the contrary, we will be operating at considerable loss.

Both congresses are being rescheduled to July 12-14 in Prague, so please make your arrangements to see us then!

Keep healthy, everyone! Your health is our chief concern.

With all best wishes,
The Board of FESCA aisbl

A patient dinner is also being organised, for Friday evening from 19.00 in Restaurant Vyšehradský Kandelabr 5 min walk from the Congress. This will be appr. 25 euro.

Congress Registration is OPEN NOW at the following link, and those attending can also book hotels through the organising agency, AIM, at the same link.

Information on streaming and further logistics will be available closer to the date. We look forward to seeing as many of you possible in Prague, or online!
