Guidelines for Using the FESCA Logo
Introduction
The Federation of European Scleroderma Associations (FESCA) logo represents the backbone of our brand and mission. It is a vital symbol of our commitment to raising awareness about scleroderma.
The logo reflects the power of unity and the enthusiasm of its member organisations and individuals. The key visual—four people with joined hands—represents the idea that “we go hand in hand to raise scleroderma awareness!”
To ensure consistency and maintain the integrity of our visual identity across all platforms, please follow these usage guidelines.
1. Approved Logo Versions
Primary Logo: Use the full-colour logo on white or very light grey backgrounds for maximum visibility and recognition.
Dark Backgrounds: When using the logo on dark or colourful backgrounds or photos, enclose it in a white circle (either full or half-circle at the bottom).
Monochromatic Logo: Allowed only in exceptional cases (e.g. specific media constraints).
👉 Contact the communication team at info@fesca-scleroderma.eu if you need to use this version.
2. Logo Placement
Preferred Placement: Lower right corner of the design, occupying 1/4 of the design’s width.
Acceptable Placement: Upper right corner, occupying 1/6 of the design’s width.
Not Allowed: Centre placement of the logo.
3. Background Usage
Avoid placing the logo on complex or colourful backgrounds without a white enclosing circle.
Do not use the logo directly on photo backgrounds unless properly adjusted per above guidelines.
4. Clear Space and Sizing
Clear Space: Maintain a buffer zone around the logo equal to the height of the “FESCA” text within the logo.
Minimum Size:
Print: 30 mm width
Digital: 150 pixels width
Maximum Size: No upper limit, but the logo must not dominate the overall design.
5. Colour Guidelines
Always use the full-colour version (blue, orange, black) whenever possible.
Do not use grayscale or black-and-white versions unless absolutely necessary.
